Jacqueline D. Hill

Jacqueline Hill sits as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Minority Business Development Institute. She has launched her own consulting business, having recently resigned from her post as the Director of the Pennsylvania Minority Business Center, a federally funded project of the US Commerce Department. Ms. Hill has spent much of her career advancing economic development in minority communities. In her role as Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG), she facilitated relationships with 14 financial institutions that ultimately netted over $4 billion of reinvestment dollars into minority and low-income communities across the City of Pittsburgh.

Advocating on behalf of Minority Business, Ms. Hill has worked hands on with hundreds of companies to build their businesses, which ultimately has generated hundreds of jobs in both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. In her role as Vice President of North Side Civic Development, she worked with community groups, financial institutions, elected officials, government entities, and universities to spur economic development efforts for small business owners housed in the multi-million dollar incubator facility.

She has been widely recognized for her accomplishments, has been named "Minority Business Advocate of the Year" by both the Small Business Administration and the Minority Business Opportunity Committee, and named a "Woman of Distinction" by the Girl Scouts of America.

Jacqueline has served on the Governor's Commission of African American Affairs, Chaired the City of Pittsburgh Reapportionment Commission to redistrict City Council, and has served as a f director on the Pennsylvania Convention & Visitors Bureau in Philadelphia.

Currently she serves on the Congressional Back Caucus/Glaxo Smith Kline, Advisory Board on Minority Supplier Initiatives, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and Small Business Committee as Chair of Diversity Committee, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Supplier Network Advisory Committee Member and Instructor, Philadelphia International Airport, MBE/WBE Advisory Committee, Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, Tax Credit Advisory Committee.

Ms. Hill has completed the Entrepreneur Management Program at Carnegie Mellon University, Don H. Jones School of Industrial Administration and the Dartmouth University, Tuck School of Business Entrepreneur Management Program.

Both the United Way of Pennsylvania and President George Bush Sr. have acknowledged her for his 1000 points of Light Volunteer Program. Jacqueline has been recognized for her positive contribution to the Pennsylvania economy and Minority Business across the State of Pennsylvania.
