MBDI’s Executive Director, Elizabeth Duncan Gilmour, served as a distinguished panelist at the Corporate Alliance Program(CAP)/Columbia (University) MWL Construction Trades Certificate Mentorship Program presentation held on April 10. Speaking on the topic of "MWL Update - Legislative and Business Trends", Liz addressed how bonding education can position minority firms for success.

MBDI is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for its upcoming fall session of the Bonding Readiness Program, offered through New York City’s Department of Small Business Services Please contact us immediately if you would like to apply to participate in this highly successful program that offers the emerging contractor community operational efficiency and bond readiness through classroom instruction and strategic consulting services. The program will begin with three pre-program summer workshops with formal classroom sessions beginning in September.

MBDI Bonding Readiness Program launched in New York City on October 2!
As part of the New York City Department of Small Business Services "Compete to Win" initiative, MBDI will be offering 8 months of classroom instruction along with with one-on-one advisory services to help emerging contractors operate more efficiently, make more money, and optimize their ability to secure surety bonding. This will be the first of two programs MBDI will be providing for NYC.
